The Department of Sports is working since the establishment of
college i.e. 1954. The Department is responsible to control and conduct various
sports and physical activities.

Infrastructure:-
- Indoor- An ideal Badminton hall with thick rubber coated playing surface with Table-Tennis and chess facilities are available
at Sports Complex.
- Outdoor –A Cemented Basket Ball ground with Acrylic backboard and cemented
Vollyball playing surface with a small land piece as a ground for other activities like-Kho-Kho, Kabaddi
Athletics Cricket etc are available in College.
- Gymnasium – A sixteen station weight training machine gym situated in ground floor and other machine
related to modern equipment of excercise ie. Treadmill, Cross Trainer, Excercise BIkes, Twister are available
in Sports Complex.

- Inter college (Dist./Division/State/University)- The Department of higher education,
Govt. of M.P. declares the sports calendar in every academic session and accordingly
on the basis of inter house competition the college team for the different sports
is constiuted for the district level inter collegiate competition and eventually
the selected players for different level become eligible to participate in upper
level i.e. division/state or inter university.

the training camps of Judo-Karate are scheduled in every academic session.
- Yoga – As per the expectation of Higher Education on the occasion of Great Sent Shri Vivekanand’s Birthday Jan 12 every year
the “SAMUHIK SOORYA NAMASKAR & PRANAYAM” Performed/ Demonstrated every year by the students Under the supervision of Expert.
- Annual Sports and Prize Distribution – A formal Annual Sports And Prize Distribution Programme conducted every year including activities, based on natural abilities to Promote/ Motivate students to involve them with Physical Activities were The Winner/Runner/ Position Holders/ participants of Inter House, Dist,
Division, State, University Level honoured by Certificates And Prizes through invited guests in front of Staff And Students.
