SWAYAM SIDDHA CHHATRAWAS
Established in 1958
Introduction
Four years after the establishment of the college it was decided to provide
hostel facility to the students coming from different places and First hostel
building was constructed in the year 1958. The first superintendent was the
founder principal of the college, Mrs. Kusum Mehta.
The college has three hostel buildings named as “SWAYAMSIDDHA BLOCK A, B, C
& D “in
the premises accommodating ~ 700 students coming from near by areas & other
states. All the three blocks are connected through a gallery , however the
administration & mess facility is centralized. The hostel provides high degree
of security & good facilities.
Motto
The motto of the hostel is “Home away from
Home”. The hostel wardens and “care takers” pay
personal attention & ensure healthy environment in
the hostel. Facilities like food purified drinking
water, entertainment, telephone, counseling,
coaching, Computer Laboratory & Library are integral part of the hostel. The health
facility includes the daily visit of a doctor in the
evening & also on call , in case of emergency. The
hostel rooms are spacious, with proper ventilation &
lighting facilities and are well furnished.
The hostel administration has taken care of recreation of students by providing
Television, music system for each block.

Mentorship and Support: Resident mentors (Hostel Wardens) and Care takers and staffs are available to guide and support you throughout your stay.
- Academic Support: Study groups and quiet study areas to help you excel in your studies.
- Hostel Library: Hostel also provided with its own reading room where hostellers can study freely .
- Hostel Cultural events: Many festivals are organized here in the hostel such as Ganesh Utsav, Tulsi Poojan, Krishn Janmashtami, Navratri (Garba Mahotsav), Lohari, Basant Panchami etc.
Guidelines and Policies
- Visitors: Visitors are allowed during designated hours and must be registered at the security desk.
- Cleanliness: Keep your room and common areas clean and tidy. Dispose of waste responsibly.
- Conduct: Respect fellow residents, staff, and the property. Any form of harassment or misconduct will not be tolerated.
