National Cadet Corps

History Of NCC in M.H College

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) focuses on developing character, discipline, camaraderie, and selfless service among youth. It aims to cultivate motivated leaders across various fields who will serve the nation, while also encouraging interest in joining the armed forces.
Since August 1962, our institution has proudly maintained A Company (1A COY) of 107 Dedicated Girl Cadets under the esteemed 2 MP Girls Battalion in Jabalpur. Major (Mrs) Pinto was the first ANO of the company. An additional company 1B Coy was opened in 1990 because of the increased strength of the college students.
NCC has been also introduced as an open elective subject under NEP 2020.
