The autonomous status was conferred to the college by University grants Commission, New Delhi in 1988-89. As per the UGC norms the autonomous status was extended upto 2012-2013 after successive reviews. The autonomy demands that ,the autonomous colleges should be affiliated to the parent University, there by the college continues to be affiliated to the Rani Durgavati University of Jabalpur. The college conducts the examination and the mark sheets bear the name of the Parent University with the signature of the Registrar, R D University Jabalpur . The degrees are conferred by the University indicating the name of the college. The Office of the Controller of Examinations conducts all Semester Examinations. The marks of the Continuous comprehensive evaluation (CCE) Tests, Project work and Practical Examination are submitted to this office by all departments before the commencement of the main “Written” semester examination. The result is declared within in fifteen days after the completion of examination. Any enquiries regarding Examinations are made with Examination Controller’s Office.

UNDERGRADUATE

• Passing marks in the Continuous comprehensive evaluation Tests : 33%.
• Passing marks in job oriented Project Examination : 33% .
• Passing marks in the Practical Examination : 33% .
• Passing marks in the Theory Examination : 33% .

• Passing marks in the Continuous comprehensive evaluation Tests : 34%.
• Passing marks in job oriented Project Examination : 40% .
• Passing marks in the Practical Examination : 40% .

Ordinance for the declaration of Results: The results of UG and PG Examinations are declared as per the R D University ordinance 155, 156 respectively.
